How to Get Involved
Our mission is to leverage the collective power of community to find, research, discuss and invest in assets that can hedge against the inflation while generating sustainable yield. We strive to duplicate the success of WallStreetBets (WSB) in the stock market, but in the web3 world.
Inflation is real. A dollar printed is a dollar stolen. CNBC reported that the burger costs an average of $6.05 in the U.S., a 40% increase over the last 10 years. Between Dec. 2020 and Dec. 2021, the annual inflation rate accelerated to 7%. During the same year, the price of a Big Mac also jumped at the same rate. As opposed to the decreasing purchasing power of the US dollar, the purchasing power of the bitcoin has been increasing despite its volatility.
Traditional hedges against inflation are assets (e.g., gold, commodities, various real estate investments, and TIPS), but assets are already expensive – only available for those already rich. It’s time for us to change the narrative. Together, we believe we can find better anti-inflation assets in web3.
